Australian Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Checks:

On average, 75% of all Australian Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Checks processed by Worker Checks are returned within 1 hour of receiving your application.

In the remaining cases, checks are processed within 10 business days.

This beyond the control of Worker Checks – further investigation is required by the state authorities.

This in no way means that there is a problem with the check outcome – it is just a consequence of the additional due diligence required.

You will be advised via email updates in relation to the status of your application.
