If you already hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) in Victoria, you can add or remove organisations at any time. To stay compliant, you must add Worker Checks to your WWCC record. This ensures we are notified by the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) if your WWCC status changes.

Why this matters
  • Worker Checks must be notified if a WWCC is suspended or cancelled.

  • Notifications are only sent if you have listed Worker Checks in your WWCC record.

  • Adding Worker Checks keeps your clearance up-to-date and compliant with Victorian law.

Step-by-Step: Add Worker Checks
  1. Go to the official WWCC Victoria website to update your WWWCC details: https://service.vic.gov.au/services/working-with-children-check-update-details/transaction#details

  2. Fill in your details your details (names, date of birth and WWCC number).

  3. Navigate to Update my details → Organisations.

  4. Click Add organisation.

    • Enter Worker Checks Pty Ltd as the organisation name with the email address [email protected]

    • Add any location or program details if requested.

  5. Review your entries and select Save.

  6. Worker Checks is now linked to your WWCC record and will be notified of any future status changes.

Removing Worker Checks
  • Follow steps 1–4 above.

  • Select Worker Checks Pty Ltd.

  • Click Remove and confirm.

Important Note

You must personally add Worker Checks — we cannot add ourselves to your WWCC record. During onboarding, please:

  • Log in and add Worker Checks immediately.

  • Provide us with a screenshot or confirmation email as proof.
